Hot and Cold Insulation

The purpose of this Method Statement is for Hot and Cold Insulation of Piping and Equipment. The Hot Insulation is designed to control the heat loss for heat conservation and use to protect the personnel from hot surfaces. The Cold Insulation reduce the transfer of heat to piping and avoid condensation and icing on exterior surfaces and personnel protection.

Acoustic Insulation

Acoustic insulation has become a necessity now days, not only because it is very important to soundproof our home and protect it from potential sources of noise pollution but also because it has become obligatory, according to the applicable regulations, that is Building Regulations Part E, with a single goal of increasing sound insulation. This is why it is good to know the basic principles and methods of acoustic insulation, which is proven to be very useful in both commercial and residential buildings.

Thermal Insulation

Thermal insulation provides a region of insulation in which thermal conduction is reduced, creating a thermal break or thermal barrier,or thermal radiation is reflected rather than absorbed by the lower-temperature body. The insulating capability of a material is measured as the inverse of thermal conductivity (k).Thermal insulation is the reduction of heat transfer (i.e., the transfer of thermal energy between objects of differing temperature) between objects in thermal contact or in range of radiative influence.
